In-Ground Pool Installation

In-ground pools provide you and your family with months of refreshing fun throughout the spring, summer, and early fall. Here in New England, most pool owners enjoy seven months or more of pool use!

Pool Opening & Closing

We’re here to help you open your pool in the spring and close it in the winter.

After a long, cold winter, preparing your pool before using it is key.

Our experts will:

Closing your pool when the weather cools down helps keep it safe and clean for next spring.

In-Ground Liner Replacement & Restoration

Your pool’s liner will naturally wear over time. We can replace or restore it to maintain your pool’s safety and appearance.

Liner replacement: We’ll remove the old liner, inspect the pool structure, and install a new, custom-fit liner.
Restoration: Full pool rehabs which can include new pool lines, new pool stairs, liner replacement, filter system replacements, and more!

Filter Installation & Replacement

Your pool’s filter helps keep the water safe and clean. A Jay Jay’s professional can provide two filter services:

Installing a new filter: We’ll help you select the right type of filter (sand, cartridge, or DE) to match your pool’s size and circulation needs.
Replacement: Our professionals can address worn or damaged filters that reduce water clarity and strain pumps.

FAQ: Jay Jay’s Pool Service

How long does it take to install an in-ground pool?

Installation can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months, depending on weather, materials, and design complexity.

When can I open my in-ground pool?

Wait for temperatures consistently above 70 degrees during the day before opening your pool. Opening too early risks too much pollen getting into your pool and clogging the filter. Too late, and you risk the warm weather creating algae under your pool’s cover. Consult one of our pool experts for more information on when to open your pool.

When should I close my in-ground pool?

Here in New England, we recommend closing your in-ground pool no later than the end of September. Closing too early while the water is still warm may cause algae to grow. Closing it too late risks freezing water that will expand and can burst your pipes. A Jay Jay’s expert can help you determine the best time to close your pool.
